Metallica success

I sent a letter, SASE and a picture to Metallica a week or so ago, and only received guitar picks on March 4th 09, and didn't get my picture returned.

I have many guitar picks from metallica and I have never seen those ones. Are you sure they are from metallica and not an opening band. Usually all the members have a pp signature on the pick and the band name on the other side.

They have the metallica logo on the back of them, one has '2009' written on it, and the green one has a PP on the back.

Was that to the Nottingham Venue ?
I sent to them there but haven't heard anything back yet
