It looks like a nice try, but its too dis jointed. Usually his J connects to his F which isnt a defined F like that and the F is connected to the rest. Usually one nice continuous signature. I'd lean towards a Sec, which makes me sad.

If you are correct, then it is not a nice try lol, it is frankly a poor one. They reallly don't look alike at all, in terms of pure structure. After looking at the two long and hard, it looks like similar handwriting to me.

Though You can't question the authenticity of all the previous ones based on this one being fake or not. All the previous ones received from this address match his IP better than this one. Not saying this one is fake, but it is clearly different. Hopefully it is.

Thanks for all the comments. I too wondered about the auto's because they looked different but did not want to say anything until now. I just saw another board member get success from James Franco and he received 3 back from the 3 that he had sent, so they were not pre signed ones. He has 2 that look like most and one that looks like mine.

That might not be so crazy. It would explain why the autos really don't look alike. As I said earlier, it's a poor attempt at imitation if that is what they are trying to do.

Really glad you got him as he seems a good VV signer, I have only heard of him sending SEC via normal mailing addresses.

Glad you got him, I'm a big fan too & got him a few months back when Oz started - hoping to hear from Rachel Weisz who I sent to c/o the set. Starting to give up now but guess you never know!

Signing a few of these official cards several years ago is a bit different to sitting down to a pile of fanmail & signing. For started he has a dreadful signature to begin with. Second I have seen In person autos signed EXACTLY like the Via venue successes coming from OZ & other movie sets he signs from. You can't base its not real on one fan card. Like many other autos I have done a lot of research on Jame's and have several years of examples of in person - TTM - Via Venue.
