Message Filter
I know admin and all the moderators would be busy, but each message should go through a "Message Filter" and the moderators have to approve of it or decline it. And if you decline it, you put a reason and it gets emailed to the poster. I decided to have this because of spamming. What do you think?
Many Thanks

hey, I know of other sites that do this. It takes forever. & I doubt the spammers would care if you declined it, because they seem to just be spambots.
I think that the registration process should just be stricter. Maybe have a section where you write why you want to join, and then admin or a mod has to accept the user before they can post.

The same with me.
I'm a member on a popular forum and it has never been spammed.
So it might be phpBB

Because the thing about a admin or a mod to filter the messages would take a long time..You'll need to have mods on ehre 24h/7 to filter messages. That's why I agree with dgangel's Idea.
