Hey chegill!!

I will gladly help you!! :D

1.In writing a letter to a celebrity,of course you can start off with your name and maybe a little about yourself because I am sure that some celebrities would like to know about their fans and some of their interests so you can include a little sentence or two about yourself.Also,you could tell the celebrity how great they were in one of the films that you liked!!Compliments are always great to have!! {up}

2.For putting the right things in an envelope,you will need to include an SASE(Self Adressed Stamped Envelope)For postage,I'm not too sure on how the stamps work in the UK since I live in the US!! :lol: You might have to ask someone who lives in the UK. :mrgreen:

3.Same as question number two,you will probably have to ask someone who lives in the UK.

4.Sure you can send a photo to the celebrity if you wish to have a certain photo signed!! :D It all depends on the celebrity.Some might not sign as much as other celebrities do so with those you might want to try sending your own photo!!And then there are celebrities that do send their own photos!! 8)

I hope that this helped you and that I answered your questions!! {thumb2}

Hi chegill, I think I can fill help out on the other questions {up}

2. You will need to include a Self Addressed Envelope (SAE) and an International Reply Coupon (IRC). IRCs can be bought at most Post Offices for 95p. You put the IRC in with your letter to the celebrity, and this will be exchanged into stamps from the country you have sent your letter to, to cover the return postage.

3. To send to America you will need to use a 50p stamp, this is what I do and it hasn't failed yet!

Good luck!

Hi chegill :D

I'm hoping I'm not misunderstood, but sending an A3 envelope with A4 envelope inside? It sounds a bit big to me (I'm hoping it's just a typing error).

I'd suggest sending to the celebrity 2 envelopes - one addressed to them and one as your self-addressed envelope (SAE) (about 9x12 inch or around A4 size). This sized SAE will be sufficient to enclose almost all photos, so I don't think you'll need a sticky label as well.

Since you are going to the US, you will be able to buy stamps to stick on your self-addressed envelopes so you won't need any IRC's. Postage from the US to the UK costs $0.84, so I would suggest sticking 2 $0.84 stamps onto the SAE (thus making it a self addressed, stamped envelope or SASE). Don't forget to write "AIR MAIL" on this envelope, and "Do Not Bend".

For the envelope addressed to the celebrity, you will need one big enough to fit your SASE, letter and (if applicable) photos or item to sign. You can fold your SASE to fit in the envelope to the celebrity. This envelope can be of any size provided everything fits inside. Make sure you stick enough postage on the envelope addressed to the celebrity so it gets to them too :wink:

Good luck, and have fun in NY!
