this site down hill plus spaam forum hasnt updated since nov 2012 and would not listen to me on updating

I feel you on that. I'm a... quirky... kind of person and a Cardinals fan and while they haven't been jerks to me because I'm a Cards fan (most on there are into the Cubs), I feel that I'm mostly ignored when I ask questions. Two people have taken me seriously and that's why I still go there. I wish star-collector was still around. That was a good site, too.

I value all.of our members... No never hesitate to ask.

It may take me a while to reply... But I eventually will.

Glad to see others are having the same issues! I thought it was just me. However, sometimes this site will work with Safari or Camino browsers and sometimes it only works with Firefox. Lately I've been lucky that it loads at all on Firefox! What the heck?! Oh well. I can't really complain can I? I mean seriously....it's not life or death if I can't visit the site. It's just frustrating sometimes.

i do agree on it is kind of crazy that it is up and down lately. i guess you do get what you pay for sometimes.

While I would.love to update the forum just for you.... I do 95% of the updating my self. I work full time, and have a life and family. So addys will be updated when I have time come June. The site is free, so beggars can't be choosers.

And when you at one point sent 1 message every week asking for updates... That is why you got ignored.

While SPAAM focuses mainly on sports (we do have thousands of hollywood type addys as well).. We focus more on private addys than on fanmail and secs.

if you are in need of help i do have a degree in programming. i also am online every now and then. life does get busy at times, and people understand that. if you want to keep the site working yourself it is cool also. just figured i would put out the offer.

I think the site kicks ass, My inquiry was not meant to be a fanbiz hate thread. But a mass email out to members when the site is down, and when it is expected to return would be helpful. Sometimes the database contains different info than the feedback forum. This can be a pain when the search function is inoperable. Anyway, hope the issues are worked out.

Of course, when it comes down to it, all you've done is given admin another thread to move into a different section. The site has been doing this for years, for a combination of reasons including, but not limited to, bandwith exceeding, crashes not being noticed and changes in code messing with it. The point being...none of the "members" know what's going on and never will. It's free, it's there, and until people go with the flow and move elsewhere it will be the top site despite all the issues.
