Olympic Diver Greg Louganis Success

Greg Louganis was an Olympic diver who is generally considered to be one of, if not the, greatest diver of all time. He won a total of 4 Gold Medals at the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and Seoul winning the medals for the 3m Springboard and 10m Platform events. He also won a Silver medal in the 10m Platform event at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal.
He is widely remembered for an accident at the 1988 Olympics in which his head hit the diving springboard during the preliminary rounds. Despite suffering a concussion, he completed the preliminary rounds and still went on to win the Gold Medal in the event.
