I wrote to Al Jardine on the 27th of January 2016, and received my photos back signed (and personalised) by him on 14th of May 2016! I even received a hand-written note from him too, which I didn't expect at all! I didn't expect a reply from Al as he lives in America and I live in the UK, so it was a wonderful surprise!

Thank you! Jealous that you got VIP tickets. I'm pretty sure these are genuine, because he answered the questions I asked him, and mentioned their UK tour (which I wish I could go to, but I can't afford the tickets) I've written to Brian too, but I'm sending a few copies of my letter to some of the venues he's performing at during his UK tour in hope that he'll get a reply. I only need Brian's autograph, then I'll have a complete set of beach boys autographs, well, apart from Carl and Dennis. I already have Mike and Bruce's autographs cause I met them in person last year after their show in Brighton and asked them to sign one of my beach boys LPs for me

Thank you so much! I didn't expect a reply because it costs a lot to send stuff from the UK to America, and vice versa

How did you go about the return postage? I too am from the UK so I am just wondering how much money ($/£?) I should include in a letter to Al.

Sorry I haven't replied sooner. I can't actually remember how much it cost, as I sent the letter last year, I just remember I explained in the post office that it was fanmail, and explained that I was paying for the return postage. I think I got them to weigh the letter with the 3 photos I sent, to see how much the return postage would cost. I think I also got them to weigh everything I was sending (the 2 envelopes, the 3 photos and my letter) to see how much it would cost to send to america. One thing I will suggest, is make sure you have the airmail sticker on the envelopes. Also, maybe ask Al some questions in your letter, cause he seemed to answer the questions I asked him
