LEIGH FRANCIS (AKA - KEITH LEMON) LUCKY SUCCESS!!

I've been a constant fan of Leigh ever since he appeared in his own self styled TV show, Bo' Selecta! in 2002. A celebrity obsessed show, where Leigh would mock topical celebrities by wearing crude masks, which barely resembled his victims, and only covered the lower half of his face. Most of the humour came from Leigh's ineptitude to accurately impersonate anybody famous. His first alter-ego was created for this show - the celebrity stalking Avid Merrion, who would randomly show up at celebrity book signings or the red carpet with a single camera man and attempt to speak to famous people with a rather muddled sounding European accent. Often with little success.

When Bo' Selecta! ended in 2006 Leigh created his most famous and current alter-ego, the loud mouthed, garishly dressed, Keith Lemon. As Keith, he was given his own, award winning, late night panel show, Celebrity Juice in 2008. This involved 2 teams of celebrity guests trying to score points about the week's tabloid news, but later escalated into Keith making them perform outrageous and often degrading tasks in order to win.

In 2013 the long since cancelled panel show, Through The Keyhole, was revived with Keith as the presenter. Keith rummages through various celebrity homes with complete disregard for the celebrity's belongings and offers various 'clues' as to who the home may belong to, while a celebrity panel in the studio has to guess the correct answer. With Keith's unique spin, the show was an instant hit and far more successful than the original.

Leigh has and still is, enjoying huge success with the Keith Lemon character. When interviewed or as a guest on any show Leigh always appears as Keith.

This was a lucky success as I found out Leigh was about to film a new series of Celebrity Juice and I'd heard his agency company wasn't very good at managing his fan mail, so I decided to take a chance and write to him at the studios where he was about to start recording. Yesterday I received a response!

I had the same problem with agency so sent to celeb juice and recived a signed photo with all the panel cast on. Bang tidy
