David Eugene Ray, Jr. (born September 19, 1944 in Phenix City, Alabama) is a former professional American football placekicker in the National Football League. He played college football at the University of Alabama as a kicker and wide receiver. He was an All-American kicker in 1964. Was on two Alabama National Championship teams (1964-1964). Selected in the 16th round (243rd overall) of the 1966 NFL Draft, Ray played six seasons for the Los Angeles Rams.
