nice pics but you seriously need a scanner, then you won't get the glare of the light

Thanks but it would be a waste of money for me when I can simply use my phone

I got a really good combined printer and scanner for £30. I can type my letters and stuff out and then when the pics come back, scan them and I don't get any glare from background light or indeed sunlight.
