Sent Mr. Qualls LOR, SASE and 1 photo of him as "Citizen Z" from Z Nation to the Principato address in database on 1/27/15. Received back signed on 2/7/15 with an interesting note.

Cool I always liked him ... I would write to him but I don't send sharpies with my requests lol So he probably wouldn't sign for me.

Hi StevenQ
Thank you for your feedback
Would you have a scan of the envelope you received please?
If so, you are in the run for the $10 gift certificate.

Its a pen ideal for signing, its a personal preference if you send a sharpie pen.

Great success...love Z Nation.
I always send sharpies if its specifically what I want the person to sign my item with...helps avoid the risk of them signing in a different color. Some people don't care as long as they get a signature back, but I tend to send old/higher-end cards that I like signed in blue.

Thanks for the replies. My wife and I love Z Nation, just wish they would slow down killing off people. As mentioned I include a silver sharpie with any photos too dark for black. I do this to avoid black sharpie that can't be seen. I always make a note of this at the bottom of my lor and tell them to keep the pen. If you just want your pic signed in black I'm sure you don't need to include one.
I assume from DJ'S note that he may get a lot of "gimme" autograph requests and appreciated being appreciated. Good luck in sending to him, post your results.
