William Alexander Gadsby (born August 8, 1927) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played for the Chicago Black Hawks, New York Rangers, and Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League. He played from 1946 - 1966. Elected to the Hockey Hall Of Fame in 1970..
