Hi there y'all, it's been a while! Got three great successes this week, and I'll start with the one I received today.
I sent a request to John Carpenter, and I was surprised I got a response! His assistant emailed me back, and told me that he would forward an email that I sent him, to his personal email. So I said sure, and sent one.

Received: Jan. 2, 2015

I feel like the odds of getting an email success from him again is slim.
But, for anyone that would like to try, do it with the best intent and
please be a real, true fan. It would be a shame to lose this outlet
for such an awesome success.

I wrote him 5 or 6 years ago and got an awesome autograph. He's great to fans. The man's my favorite director of all time. Congrats!

Wow, this is awesome. Halloween is one of my favorite's, and easily my favorite horror movie. Carpenter changed the horror genre with Michael Myers.

I am a fan too and wrote an email a few months ago, and was told I should send in my own stuff, which is hard at the moment because I got no american stamps :/ But I think it is great that he still sends somethign out via email to the real fans
