Sent 3x5 index card, Letter, and SASE to Mr. Palmer on August 13 2014. On August 23 2014 received back a signed and personalized 8x10 with a letter stating that he no longer will sign items sent to him but will send back a personalized 8x10 instead. For me this was even better considering I only sent him an index card to sign.

It's an autopen.

i think that may be real. in all of the autopen signatures from palmer the P overlaps the L (example below). the one above doesn't overlap. do you have a ruler? all of palmer's autopens measure 3 inches. if yours measures 3 inches than it is an autopen

I took a ruler to the signature and it only measures 2.5 inches. Here is the letter that came with the autograph.
