I have been trying to gather the autographs of all the remaining cast of The Dick Van Dyke Show as a gift for a friend and have had success with Dick Van Dyke, Rose Marie and Carl Reiner using the addresses in your database, thank you! What a wonderful resource! The address listed for Larry Mathews will not accept autograph requests. And I imagine that Ms. Moore is too ill to sign a picture. (I sent a letter, picture and a SASE to each person.)

Mr. Van Dyke and Ms. Rose Marie only took a few weeks to respond, but Mr. Reiner took several months.

If anyone knows how I can reach Larry Mathews, please let me know. And if anyone thinks it would be proper to even try with Ms. Moore, please let me know. Thank You!

The signature of Dick Van Dyke is most likely his usual through the mail secretarial signature. Of course I'll need to see the photo before I can be 100% certain.

You can count on the dick van dyke ttm secretarial photo and it most likely says god bless.

If it looks like this it is secretarial.

Yes I did - sorry I didn't get back to you yet. I had yet another big arguement with my girlfriend of three months and was feeling down. I think we argue so much because I am 59 and she is 26 and beautiful. I used to date her mother 40 years ago and we kept in touch. Her daughter just left an abusive boyfriend after 10 years. He would hit her all the time and finally threw her down the stairs and that's when she left Margerettsville (upstate NY) and moved back to an apartment in her parents house near me. She wanted to kill herself after this relationship so her mother (knowing I was such a good person) brought her to my house a couple of times to raise her spirits. Then when she dropped her off one night I took her out to eat and drink at an outdoor boatyard cafe and one thing led to another and here it is three months later. Her mother and father are fine with it because they know I'm treating her good because after all, she could have met another dirtbag or junkie. We are very attached to each other now but I don't want to be selfish so I told her she should find someone her own age to do the things she likes to do with and maybe we could just be very close friends. It breaks my heart to tell her this and she tells me I'm too old and we don't have many things in common but she doesn't want to hurt me either, so right now we are stuck in limbo. What's the solution - any ideas? We just had another arguement/discussion about it an hour ago over the phone so I still feel lousy. I'll send you a PM about the photos. Guy

It did say 'God Bless,' but I don't think the writing was that frilly looking. I no longer have it. I'll have to go over to my friend's house sometime and take a picture of it. Thanks!

Yes you do that. But I can tell you now it won't be dick van dykes authentic if you wrote to that address and I am unanimous in that.

Oh! Does anyone know how to get a real one?
