Just received this today, a preprint of Peter Capaldi, the new 12th Doctor Who.
I did send a photo for him to sign but it hasn't been touched
Above is a picture of the envelope, the picture and the note that came with it.

It's nice that you got something in return, maybe you could try again, I'm sure there are priority letters and such from charity requests that will get filled first.
I would certainly try again.
