I don't know if you noticed, but Dennis.Hopper is dead. He died four years ago.

I cant imagine you were much of a true fan anyways if you didn't know he died 4 years ago lol You should try steve McQueen next I hear he is a good signer.

Underlying, there's a fair point there. It's not like it was a death that didn't make the press. It's also a fair point that if you're a real fan of someone, you tend to know if they're alive or not.

He was a lovely guy, met him in 2007 at St Andrews, and he was awesome. A class act.
