Sent: LOR, SASE and 2 pics on 25/03/2014 to the address on the database. Received: My 2 pics signed and an additional signed photo 27/03/2014
Bit Suspicious about the speed of return. Sigs on my 2 pics are also slightly different to what I assume to have been a presigned one (which is also in a different coloured pen) Hoping they are genuine and I was just lucky to have sent on a day she was there but I'm thinking atleast 2 of the 3 are secs. Would appreciate some input here (know it is wrong forum for if it's authentic too but thought I may as well just put it all on one post, please don't eat me!).
Successes: Amanda Holden, Dannii Minogue, Kylie Minogue, Samantha Womack (4x Pictures, a thank you card and IP signed south pacific theatre programme), Torvill and Dean (DOI VV Photo and IP tour programme), Beth Tweddle (IP tour programme) Corrie Cast 50th Anniversary (PP), Jo Joyner (Eastenders), Miranda Hart, Jacqueline Wilson, Derren Brown, Dame Judi Dench, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, Stephen Mulhern, Emile Sande (PP) Suranne Jones, Sarah Hadland
Most Wanted: Elisabeth Sladen, Eastenders Cast, Britain's Got Talent Judges, Girls Aloud Members, Michael Mcintyre and Sarah Millican
It's a strange one, the bottom looked fine at first sight, but as I continue to look at it, it seems slightly out as well, though I would be more inclined to think that's genuine. I'm going on memory on that one, as it does look fairly like what she signs TTM when doing a fuller signature. I can't really see the top left one, but the top right looks off to me, as it does to you. What I can't understand is why ... Suranne is notorious for taking an eternity to respond, but usually does given that time. I've had everything from her from the full signature IP, to a quick IP, to both from TTM as well.
Looking at that signature, it's the S that I don't like with the angle on it. I've also never seen the J going through the first part of her signature, or indeed the tight follow up characters within the signature.
It's strange, but I agree with you... something not quite right there.

Not really if you are in the uk and send them first class on a Tuesday they should recieve them (next day) Wednesday, sign the pics and post them back that same day first class you will receive them Thursday.
If surranne happened too be at that address yesterday then they will be genuine. Simple.

I never said it wasn't "simple", I said it was incredibly fast.
And the scenario you're describing is completely out of the ordinary, which is why the average wait time is 3 months, not 1-2 days.
Nobody is denying that it's "simple". It's just odd.
Definite on dates as I sent my one 2 her along with 2 other letters on Tuesday morning on my way to Sixth Form. They were sent first class and obviously got there and back but still it's so weirdly quick; I was expecting the SASE to contain something I sent ages ago.
If the sigs were more similar to one another I'd be a little more optimistic, I'm hoping atleast the additional photo sent back may be presigned by Suranne herself? Has anyone ever had one similar to that?
Sorry the picture of them isn't clearer, have misplaced my camera and my phone doesn't take very good quality pics.

Thank you for your reply! Very useful (although slightly disappointing to think it's not genuine).
I've been looking through other people's successes from her and there are a few similar looking to mine (mostly the bottom one). But all personalized/long taking/IPs I've seen so far seem quite different to the ones I received, as yours does. Not feeling very optimistic about the top 2 if I'm honest but still slightly hopeful about the bottom as, as you say, her signature can vary and if it were to have been signed at the same time it would be same colour pen and same style. Still not hugely confident about it though.
Do you think it's worth waiting a few months and trying again?
Thanks
Rachel

The IP one I linked to was signed quickly, as by that stage she'd signed several for us and been kind enough to add that awesome quote to the card for me, so while the writing is neater, the signature was quickfire and large. If I were you I'd wait a wee bit and then write again, explain you think she was away from the office when you got a reply and, while you thank her office, you'd love a dedicated one and don't mind waiting a while for it to come back so you can add it to your collection
