You are highly lucky, it's against protocol for any member of the British royal family to sign autographs.

And if you do research you would easily know this information. It's highly uncommon for the British royal family to sign anything, usually they send formal letters with a AP signature and an unsigned pic, or you get something (usually a formal letter) from their secretary. Look through the feedbacks.
But it isn't totally unheard of to get an autograph from them, I remember seeing a thread about how someone gotten Camilla Duchess of Cornwall's signature awhile back.

It's actually common knowledge. Think you even learn that in history class! You don't have to be so damn snarky!!

I don't even know why that person was being such a jerk.
I just said that the original poster was extremely lucky for getting a success like this since it's so rare to ever get anything besides formal letters, AP, and secretarial stuff from British royals...

Yeah i dont know why either. She preaches niceness within the site but then is extremely rude for no reason. Makes no sense, like she wants to start arguments from nothing. She needs to practice what she preaches!!

While it is protocol for actual members of the royal family to not sign autographs, those who marry into the Royal family often still do. For example, Sarah has been a great signer both through the mail and in person for years, Princess Diana was also known for being very willing to sign autographs.

I got Sarah in person when she was still married to Prince Andrew. She did not sign through the mail at that time. Now being divorced and an author she is a bit easier making appearances etc. Still beautiful photo.
