Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, AUTHENTIC Autograph Success

I'm still in complete shock! I wrote to HRH a couple of weeks ago, I sent a rather long, personal letter because I have heard of a lucky few getting handwritten responses back. Well this morning when the postman woke me up I didn't think it'd be for THIS! The beautiful envelope is postmarked from Buckingham Palace, with Camillas monogram on the back, and it was sent on special delivery and had to be signed for. Its a photo card, with a generic message on the back but Camilla has dated it, dedicated it to me and signed it at the bottom. I feel VERY lucky as I know the royals very rarely sign anything for members of the public.

I 2 have had a success from HRH a while ago now but didn't post. Please do not think of me to be rude in saying this but I think it is best for you to delete your post.

Why ? On the front of the envelope reads private and confidential , does it not ? I didn't post for those reason no matter what the letter said but out of respect for HRH. I also thought that this would lead people writing to the palace trying to get autographs when they simple don't allow it ! You have wrote a very meaningful letter to her on which someone such as a lady in waiting has taken a "blue moon decision" to forward your letter to HRH.

The reply you will get from the palace if you do write will be from a lady in waiting whom will send a Thank you letter or a postcard displaying an event, so if you were to write don't expect to get a personal reply from a member of the royal family ! But I am believed that other country's such as Spain or Denmark signed photographs .

Once again please do not think of me to be rude but I thought that would be the most respectful thing to do , is it not .

With all due respect, you've just drawn more attention to this thread by bumping it... I do agree it should be deleted though, but it's going to get a lot more views now it's been bumped again.
