I first wrote to Dermot Crowley several years ago as part of my "Star Wars" collection. He played General Madine in "Return of the Jedi," and I got a wonderful response back. Now, I've become rather obsessed with the BBC show "Luther," on which he plays one of the main characters, DSU Schenk. I wanted a signed photo of his character, so I wrote again and got another wonderful response, as well as a signed letter that he very clearly wrote in response to mine. Such a great response from a great actor. I'm hoping to send him my "Luther" photo that has a couple of other cast signatures on it soon, but I'm a little low on UK stamps and have to pick up some new ones, so I have to wait until then.
