sent a letter, picture and stamped envelope to manchester united football club (which i didnt put enough postage on so had to pay the extra before it got delivered)
about 2 months ago. received my picture back signed today. WOO



(envelope is behind photo in picture) really pleased as he actually signed MY picture. WOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How did you get this back? Did you send too the training ground or old
Trafford and did you write anything extra in your letter? Or was it just a
Standard normal letter?

i wrote to the old trafford address and put an SASE in with my letter and the photo. i wasn't expecting to get my picture back. i thought if i were going to get a reply it might be a club card, but i decided to send the picture anyway.

i just wrote that i was a fan and have loved watching him play for united this past season (i mentioned his cracking goal against aston villa as well), then asked if he could possibly sign the picture for me.

didnt do anything 'special' although i think i did find out how to write "all the best for the future" in dutch and put it at the bottom of the letter.
