So I sent out a drawing of Rafiki to Mr. Guillaume on 6/26 and got it back today 7/12. Pretty fast success! If you don't know him, he voiced Rafiki in The Lion King and has been in plenty more.



I sent him the drawing and he added his own picture also. The autograph on the picture is a bit hard to see, but it says

"God bless you Kyle, Robert Guillaume"

And on the drawing it says

"To Kyle, all the best to you, Robert Guillaume" and he even wrote "a Sante Sana" Rafiki on it which is pretty awesome.

Great success! I wrote to him at the end of last summer and haven't heard anything back yet... hopefully this means he might be going through some fanmail? He's so great as Rafiki.

If you sent out a request to him "last" summer & you have not head back yet, there's a possibility that your mail was lost. I would recommend resending! There have been a few success between last summer and now!

Yeah, I'd resend if I were you. Out of all the successes I've seen, none take even close to that long.

Thank you and yes you should. He's a great person. I sent him the drawing and a ticket stub to The Lion King 3D that I went to a couple years ago and I told him that it's a little small so if he can't sign it it would be fine. So he kept that and added his own picture. Even better.
