James Garner half-Success

Sent about two weeks ago to the address in the database a letter, a SAE, a photo, a poster and a lobby card.
Received today only the poster signed and the lobby card unsigned, I guess he kept the photo I had sent him!
Anyway I'm still pleased since "The great escape" poster is the one I cared most for and that's the one he signed, plus he's an Actor with a capital A and signing for him, especially considering his age and health, is not something he has to do but something he does as a favour and a gift to his fans!
So thanks, Mr. Garner and Fanmail.biz!

This persons posting was from february so i guess james has finally stopped accepting new fanmail due to his age and health.I sent to the same address as you last october and have not received my photos back signed or unsigned so i still have a small,small glimmer of hope lol his signing habits have been odd the past few years he only signs certain things and some people get their stuff back and others like me nothing so far anyways and now i guess they are not accepting anymore. I hope to get mine back but if not i understand and james garner is a great actor and a great guy so either way he is awesome in my books....

I sent out long before may. Due to someone else saying they got photos signed like week after they said that ....NOTHING .I think they are pulling our leg here. Because I talked to someone who manages his facebook page .HE DOES NOT SIGN AT ALL. If I was told right !

I disagree that looks like his autograph only a bit shaky...I think he maybe signed it because its a poster and I also sent way before may but I don't think anyone is pulling our leg.... I do think he is done signing now though and we prolly wont be getting our stuff back...

that sucks. I believe I did send out even before January . at least they could of JUST sent my stuff back.There was enough postage ! not complaining here. BUT printing out your own photos and stuff with the cost of ink & stamps !

I'm just over the moon right now. I sent a letter, along with a 8x11 photograph, asking Mr. Garner to please autograph last week. Yesterday I received a notice in my mail box and I went to pick it up today, and lo and behold it is the picture I had sent autographed by Mr. Garner. The whole process took less than 12 days. I sent it the last week of May 2013, and received it on the 11th June 2013. I feel so blessed and fortunate. I let him know that I bought his latest book, which I thoroughly enjoyed. : :razz:
