Hi, I saw where you sent a request to wade boggs with a donation. I sent him a request with three cards, a LOR, and a SASE on 4-11-13 but I didn't send a donation. I received them on 5-19-13. He was super and signed all three cards. Thank you Mr. Boggs. I am fairly new at requesting autographs. I've gotten Roger Clemens, Nolan Ryan, Ron Cey, Greg Luzinski, Mark Martin, and Judge Judy just to name a few. I am waiting on Kevin Butler,Dave Chalk, Sal Bando, an charlie Hough. Do you haave any tips? Thanks.

If you didn't send the proper donation to Nolan Ryan... Chances are you got an auto pen in return.

Yeah, I mean I'm still pretty new to this. But always be polite in your letters and make a connection between yourself and the person you're writing to. Also, I handwrite my letters to make them more personal. If you plan on making this a regular hobby, I would suggest buying address lists from http://www.sportsaddresslists.com/ . Comes in handy, has the newest and most updated addresses, and gives information that you wouldn't find on this website (such as costs, their return rates, etc.). Lastly, be patient. Don't expect all of your cards to come back, because I guarantee they won't. So never send something valuable.
I'm still waiting for Charlie Hough amoung MANY others myself.

Thanks for the tips. I am still waiting on a few autographs that I sent last year. I received Dick Cheney's autograph but I think his assistant signed for him. Thanks for the web site.
