A Surprising success today as I got Wade Boggs back. I sent it out on August 2nd and afterwards I realized he charged so I figured I'd never see it. I have recently seen where some of you sent like $20. However, I guess I got luck because he signed 3/3 trading cards. Very awesome success for me as it's my first Hall of Famer. This is the address I used:

Wade Boggs
6006 Windham Place
Tampa, FL 33647

However it was stamped Fort Lauderdale

Congrats! I sent mine late August without payment as well. Crossing my fingers I get it back. Your success gives me some hope.

Boggs doesn't charge. I've gotten 3 different successes from him.

Hi brochester8 :)

Thank you for your feedback {up}

Would you have a scan of the envelope and picture you received please?
If so, you are in the run for the $10 gift certificate.

Hi:
I will put my two cents in on this one.

I also had a sucess with Wade without making a donation to "All Children's Hospital" of Tampa,FL.

However, It took 4 months to receive my item returned signed.

I saw like everyone that some made a donation to one of Wade's favorite charities and received a fast response. The donation was $10 per item. I personally am quite blessed to have the job I have and I donated $20 per item. I got mine back in 7 days. He has signed for as little as $5.

The point is that Wade seems pretty comfortable signing throught the mail and I get the impression that making a donation, when you can, has helped. Wade Boggs is fan friendly and be appreciative when possible.

I don't see many players that are new HOFers taking the time to respond to fan mail, much less for a reasonable donation.

Yea, you should send money...it goes to a good cause. People are going to start mooching for free autographs and he's going to stop signing.
