I sent 2 photos, letter and 1 IRC to Richard, as I didn't have any stamps, i sent them on: 4th July 2012, and today I recieved my IRC, photos back unsigned with angry note written on it.
Which im secretly pleased with

Sometimes I consider writing to him just for THAT
I don't think he gets the purpose of IRCs

irc no longer work in the uk thats why he gets upset i think
ive written to him a few times hoping to get an angry letter.. nothing back so far

I thought irc's did work in the uk- they just aren't sold there any more?
Nice success though! But it kind of stinks that he didn't sign your photos.

Yes, you're correct.
Here in the UK we cannot buy them. But any bought overseas for postage here still work.

I'm thinking I might get one too. I was unable to buy UK stamps and I told him that but...IDK. I don't want an angry reply.

Also, this isn't a shot at you Shaun, but do guys all write LOR's as short and simple as this was? I usually write atleast a full page on standard lined notebook paper lol.

I don't even send a letter on most of mine. Just photo and sase

I write about half a page by hand. By the way, sorry you didn't get your photos signed, but it's still a cool response. Also you got your photos back, so you can send to him again without printing more photos!
