Wonderful photo! May I ask how you addressed your letter (LOR) to her? I've been wanting to send, but haven't figured out the best way to start at the top. Don't know that she reads all of them...but still I'd rather be polite! Thanks in advance.

I don't know if I addressed her properly but I said "Dear Dame Maggie Smith."

I think I wrote, "Dear Dame Smith." Usually I put Ms. but that didn't seem right for her since she has the title. When I wrote to Sir Ian McKellen, I also wrote, "Dear Sir McKellen." It always sounds awkward to me when I write it like that but I think it's the proper way!

No I did not. She sent it to me! She must have chosen the HP photo because that was mostly what I talked about in my letter.

I sent to her 3 photos from: HP, Downton Abbey and from Sister ACT.
