A few months ago I wrote to Steve Whitmire v. of Kermit the Frog using the address for Sesame Street in New York. A few days ago I received an reply back. However it was NOT from Steve Whitmire but an autograph of the Sesame Street Characters (Big Bird/Abby Cadabby/Elmo/Grover/Oscar/Cookie Monster/Bert and Ernie). It's authentic...however authentic from Sesame Street characters can be. lol.

I also received a letter...

"Dear (My name here):

Thank you so much for watching and enjoying Sesame Street. We are always pleased to hear from one of our viewers. Unfortunately, we do not have the picture you requested at this time. Instead, please accept this picture of the entire Sesame Street Cast.

Thank you,

Technically Kermit and the Muppets are now owned by Disney. Here's their website. Do a search on the forum there and you can probably find an address to use that will work. Good luck!

While the Muppets are part of the mouse these days but Sesame Street is NOT owned by Disney. Henson separated the two properties and CTW is autonomous. Not sure how that affects Kermit actually.

Kermit is no longer a part of Sesame Workshop but is now part of the Muppets Studio which is owned by Disney. That's why you no longer see him on S. Street, although he did make an guest appearance in 2009. Why do I know this? haha

Actually I was searching for an address to write Brian Henson b/c I'm a fan of Farscape which led me to finding out Kermit was no longer on the show. Hope this helps. Again, check out Muppet Central link I posted and you should be able to find more info on Mr. Whitmire.
