I sent a LOR, a picture, an "Are You Being Served?" DVD cover and a SASE to Frank Thornton on June 7th and I received the DVD cover and the picture signed today (June 15th).

Rather oddly, he wrote my full name on both the picture and the DVD so I've removed my surname from the following scans:

I'm very pleased with this success as I am a big "Are You Being Served?" fan. I have now sent the DVD cover to Nicholas Smith!

Nicholas Smith should be no problem. I wrote to Frank last week, so I'm hopeful the guy will respond soon.

Had one today! He wrote my surname on too,some actors do that, I guess.

Fantastic! It's strange how he writes surnames on some, but not on others! Did you send a picture?
