I'm very happy with this success from Cubs Hall of Famer Billy Williams. I sent a LOR, SASE, pen, ball & $5 to Mr. Williams at his address in Glen Ellyn, IL. I did this as sort of a long shot because I've seen how hit-&-miss he can be with signing. Much to my surprise I received not only my ball back signed & inscribed with his Hall of Fame year, but also my $5!!! What a great signer & even better guy!!! A real class act!!!

I hate to say this, and you have probably heard this before but if you are going after a hall of famer or big name with a baseball, you might want to spend the extra money and get an official MLB ball. It stinks that they cost from 10-15 bucks, but when you use the china balls.. the autograph almost always fades away with time. I learned this the hard way. i got George Brett on a ball at the Field of Dreams here in Iowa and had a ball like yours, and its over half gone already.. this was about 12 years ago. Just a suggestion though.

Yea, he doesn't really respond very often to that address from what I've seen. There have been more successes c/o HOF and c/o Cubs than his home address.

What is the exact address I would love to send him an 8x10

Sweet swinging Billy Williams is a true class act. Every year he comes to the Cubs convention and signs autographs. Won't meet a much nicer guy than him.
