The Odds are yet again in my Favor!! :lol: Really excited with how my project is working out! Received a super sweet success from Hunger Games Actress Amandla Stenberg!! :D She’s playing the part of Rue in the upcoming film!!

She graciously personalized and signed the 4x6 photo I sent, although, after I sent these I found out Silver sharpie is the worst color to use on this type of photo paper as it doesn’t stick and so it smudged really bad, so bummed on that or I would have sent a note saying to use a different color other than silver. LOL.

Amandla also signed my super cool 4x6 custom Hunger Games cards and added the famous “May the odds be ever in your Favor!” to them!! YES! :D This was my very first HG request that I sent out with my custom cards, so extremely happy to see this one!! {up}

I sent a Q&A card, but unfortunately Amandla couldn’t fill it out, but was so kind and returned it with two post-it notes attached to it with a cute handwritten reply thanking me for being a fan and telling me I’m “an Awesome Graphic Design Artist!” and that she loved the cards! :D Thanks Amandla!

Ryan, I have an Alisha Keys autograph that smudged just like that, at least you sent the cards too.

Thanks! Yes, was glad the signatures on the cards turned out much better. :D I guess I'll have to only print light colored photos, or find a place that prints them on photo paper that works well with silver if I plan to print any more dark ones out.

thanks, and did you print the photo yourself or did you have it print somewhere, because I usually have mine sent to walmart to print and I have not had a problem printing them there

I had the photos printed at wal-mart on their one-hour machines. they recently converted over to using this new method called 'Dry Printing and it's a lot different than the other method they were using, and I'm finding out that silver does not work well on this type of photo paper and that sticky notes leave a residue behind when stuck on the front of the photo. :( but other than that, any other color looks stunning and quality is very good! I've not tried the 'days' method of printing, but might if they work better.

She is so cute! I feel like I should start sending to the cast now before the movie is released...but I'm not good at custom cards and not many publicity photos for the supporting cast exist...hmmm...guess I'll have to learn to make a decent card!
