Sent Mr. Jackson a baseball card, LOR, SASE, and $15. Recieved card back today in my envelope unsigned with a pricelist for autographs saying minimum donation is $35. Took only a week. Used address in database. He is one of my favorite players. I really want to send again.Does anybody have any suggestions for re-sending?

Suggestion: Pay the $35 and send a picture or a baseball.
Paying $35 for him is a bargain. Look at what he wants at a show.
go to this site

or as mrgoo1 suggests find a signed Reggie item on ebay for possibly less than $35.

Personally, I dont like how all these former athletes charge ridiculous fee's for their autographs. But if you want it, just pay the $35 because you really won't find an authentic autograph from him for any cheaper then that

Did you do check into his signing prices before you sent your request? I'm not trying to be smug, but it's not a secret that he charges, there are a number of Jackson listings in the database. My suggestion would be if you want his autograph, send the $35. He charges much more than this at shows, and for a modern HOFer, $35 is not a lot of money.
For the comment about athletes charging fees for autographs, this is the real world, and nearly all HOFers in any sport charge, some a lot, others not so much. Signatures are worth money, just check ebay. I don't like paying fees either, but that's the capitalistic system.

From your price list, would $35 work for a ball? Inscription?? I'm new to this. When mailing a ball, do you send in a box with a bubble mailer for return? Just curious. Thanks.

No one is making you pay them for their autograph. If you are a true fan of a players, you won't have an issue paying a small fee for an autograph. If people wouldnt get thins signed and then turn around and sell them, the players wouldnt be charging like they do. Why should the average Joe make money off of Reggie jackson or any other player? The player did the work in his sport, he might as well make the money for his sig. Be lucky you don't want Bob Cousy's.. he charges 100 for a flat item. 35 for Reggie is a steal.
