sent a package to them last week. It arrived in 3 days, I tracked it! Today I got 2 emails from the local post office saying that they attempted to deliver it twice, but the address is incorrect, so they failed. Now they are helding the package until the right address is notified!! I live in US. What I have to do?? :(
The address I put is the one is on your site, the fan mail one.
The lady at my local post office wrote next to it "West Midlands"...Did she mess it up? Now I have No idea how to contact the UK post office, I dont even know where the package is!!! :( I just have the tracking number

Hi There.

Sutton, Coldfield is a place within West Midlands in England.
West Midlands is one of our "Counties" which I guess is an equivalent to a "State" in the USA.

Is your tracking number with the UK Royal Mail?

Did you send it to the JOP address? It was right that the lady wrote West Midlands on it but it may have been a better idea to send to the United agents address.

Several years ago I used to be friends with the boys' agent but they have moved on since then. They are great signers.

If I were you I would try going to the Royal Mail site and use the contact us link and try and explain the situation. They may be able to look into it for you. :)

Yes, you are best off sending to United Agents, as they are both listed as clients there.

James = http://unitedagents.co.uk/james-phelps-#profile-1
Oliver = http://unitedagents.co.uk/oliver-phelps-#profile-1

The contact address is:

United Agents
12-26 Lexington Street
London
W1F OLE
United Kingdom

In the tracking did you request signiture on delivery? If so that could be the problem. If memory serves me correct it's a PO Box they use, so they can't actually sign for it or maybe they can not accept packages to that address.

I would suggest contacting them with the above address.

How did they contact you? Is there a number you can use to ring them or an email address? Good luck and hope you get it sorted. Keep us all informed.

Thank you guys for all your relplies!!!
1- I sent an email to the parcelforce facility where the package is held, in Sutton Coldfield
2- I do have a tracking number, both US and UK
3- I believe I did request a signature....unfortunately...but the issue is (copied and pasted) :
Birmingham South Depot Address problem - unable to locate premises
28-11-2011 11:21 Birmingham South Depot Address problem - insufficient address
So...I think it's a address problem?
And, if I send it back to the other Agency...is it a sure delivery?
3- How can I do now anyway? Are they going to send it back?
4- Can I write asking them I dont want a delivery signature?
Thank you so much for your help...prety gutted here

Ok, the post office(parcelforce.com) emailed me back:

Thank you for your email.
I am sorry to hear that you are still awaiting delivery of your item and can understand your concern at the delay.
I have checked our records and we are unable to deliver your parcel due to problems with the address this is due to the PO Box address, we do not deliver to PO Box addresses we do need the full address and post code.

So what I have to do now: :( How the PO BOXES work? Fedex cant deliver, UPS cant deliver, the National Pos Service cant...
So sad....
If they send the package back...and If I send it back again to the Agents United this time...I have the guarantee they are going to get it?

HELP :(
