I Do Not scan envelopes.

On August 2nd I sent a LOR, 8x10 photo, and a SASE to Baseball Hall of Famer Earl Weaver. Around 10 days later I received a letter and form that he signs for a $20 donation to the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation. It was nice that the hospital used their envelope and postage and gave me the option to send the paper back with a mark next to "yes" with the money included or "no" and they will return the photo to you. I sent a check the same day and finally received on November 9th. The photo was signed and he also added HOF 96 as I had asked. I used the address in the database.

Yeah, he was a great manager. Thats why I wanted to make sure I added him to my HOF photo collection, Just a side note, he never played in the majors, but boy did he manage in them..... true great.

One of the foulest mouths ever to cross an umpire, Mr. Weaver has always been good to his fans. When I was a little kid, he and Cal Ripken Sr. signed autographs for me, which I still have (I'm almost 40). Even though he has been ejected from more games than any other manager, he was still nice to fans. Glad he made it in the HOF.
