In late July to early August 2011, I mailed Dodgers and Padres Legend Steve Garvey a LOR, SASE, and a 1986 Topps Baseball Card to his Indian Wells, California Address. On September 15, 2011, I received my card signed in blue sharpie. Very nice signature.

Steve "Mr. Clean" Garvey was one of the best during his time. It's a shame he's not in the Hall of Fame yet. Keep that bat, because it is definatly a keepsake. I'm suprised you never googled Steve Garvey before.

No, not sell it just to try and find out who he actually was. 8)
