At least you got a reply! And I always remember when I get things back (PP or Authentic):

My letter was probably in a stack of letters, in a box, in a room of boxes. If the celeb (or agency/company) is kind enough to open it up, look through and send ANYTHING back, then it's ok. I mean, a authentics always what I'm hoping for, but dont get to dissappointed because its a PP.

I mean, they didn't HAVE to send you back anything. At least they did

well how do u know it is a pp it might be real. im going to send my letter this week i think hers are real.

I always appreciate it when I get a reply. Obviously I would prefer an authentic signature. If it is actually hand signed I send back a personalized thank you card.

robertpattisonfan: Several years ago, when I was purchasing some autographs, another collector suggested getting a Radio Shack 30X Illuminated Microscope (it looks like a black flashlight with a peephole) to view the signatures. With it you can see how or if the lines overlap. With a pre-print you can see the colors from the photo blending into the lines of the signature.
