Sent letter and SASE to Stan Musial requesting a signed post card. Today I rec'd a signed index card from Stan Musial.

Yea, me too...was a bit dissapointed at first but I think I actually like it better because I use it as a cut signature later.

No donation...I knew he ususally sent out those signed post cards for free. I'd tried previously to get him on a baseball but didn't workout so I just wrote requesting the PC. Took exactly one month to the day. I'd honestly forgotten about it.

Thanks....yes my nephew and I would love to send one of our blank autograph cards to him...we have Duke Snider and Ernie Banks on a few already...perhaps he would sign those too since theyre not baseball related, for free as well.

Usually he's pretty strict about getting $$ to sign...I'd probably throw in some $$ to help your chances. I think he has a ton of those post cards already signed that usually get put into request that don't include enough money...thats why I was shocked to get back something other than that. Good luck though!

Ahhh i see...thats why i was surprised with a nice index card...strong sig too unlike a couple on here
