Susan Lee served as Member of the Maryland House of Delegates from the 16th district from 2002-2015 and as State Senator from Maryland 16th District from 2015-2023, and In January 2023 she became 72nd Secretary of State of Maryland. She is the fist Asian American woman to become Secretary of State of Maryland. On 5/02/2025 I mailed a letter explaining how I find Secretary Lee's work to be very inspiring to me at:
