Bob Johnson Football

Robert Douglas Johnson (born August 19, 1946) is an American former professional football player who was a center for 12 seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. He was the Bengals first-ever draft selection when he was chosen with the 2nd overall pick in the 1968 NFL/AFL draft. Johnson played college football at the University of Tennessee, where he was the first recruit of Tennessee coach Doug Dickey. He was named both All-Southeastern Conference (SEC) and All-American in 1966 and again in 1967.
