No
US stamps do not work unless you are aending from the US
You have to put UK stamps on SASE

Nope
Why would the post office in Canada use US stamps?
Think about the opposite - why would you expect USPS to accept Canada stamps?

You should get it back. I've mailed stuff to Calgary and especially Vancouver with the SASE using US Stamps. Now I usually just put some cash in the envelope to cover postage, lots of times they send it back and cover postage themselves. But they're not gonna stop the movement of a parcel just for having us stamps; especially a neighboring country.
