U.S. District Chief Judge Julie A. Robinson served as Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Kansas from 1983-1992, She was nominated for a seat on the United States District Court for the District of Kansas by President George W. Bush, and in December 2001 she became the first African American woman to serve on the United States District Court for the District of Kansas.

On 1/09/2018 I mailed her a letter explaining how I find her work to be very inspiring to me at:

U.S. District Chief Judge Julie A. Robinson
U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas
c/o Robert J. Dole Courthouse
500 State Avenue, Suite 511
Kansas City, KS 66101

(took about 4 weeks)

On 2/01/2018 I received a nice letter from her, a U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas mug with pin, and a book about the federal courts.
