MAD Magazine Cartoonist Al Jaffee Success!

Al Jaffee is a cartoonist who has worked at MAD Magazine for more than 60 years and is one of its most well known and most consistent contributors with only one issue between 1964 and 2013 not containing his material. One of his most well known features is his 'Fold-In' in which a photo can be folded and manipulated to create another image.

He signed the photo I sent him and returned it along with a hand drawn and signed sketch in 575 days. He also included a letter apologizing and explaining the delay.

Sent Al Jaffee 2 photos on 11 Aug and got both back 21 Aug, unsigned.. rubber stamped on the back of the photos... The stamp is similar to the head on the drawing above.
