Have to agree there, no need to get upset about it, if people can stop other people wasting their cash on postage etc then that's a good thing surely?

People are of the Jim Carey mindset "so, you're saying there's a chance" even when it's like 1 out of a million.
They'd rather spend the money on photos, envelopes, postage on the 1 % chance something is real than not have taken the chance.
Me? I hate the fact that my early collecting days were wasted on a lot of fakes. In the early days, there weren't message boards and even the books and sites on collecting didn't really know that if something wasn't stamp/autopen or pre print that it didn't completely mean it was real. There were only a few known secretarials at the time.

Hello

Well I am conflicted. I met Debbie Several years ago and got a photo with her and autograph. Last year I decided to send the photo of me and her to the Dance Studio address on Lankershim with a post it note for the inscription name. It took me 5 to 6 months TTM but seems to match what the article said to look for on the TTM's if they were fake. Was I perhaps lucky as for one they would know I knew what her autograph looked like and was lucky to get a real one....Or am I just fooling myself and her secretary tried harder knowing I could maybe tell the difference?
