I'm tired of private addresses too. I mean I still don't know which people use to get the NCIS successes and now one of my many favorite Rod Stewart and you have to balls to say,
"private address" hell I agree with the guy who thumbed down you!

You are obviously new to collecting and need all your info spoon fed to you. Even I have had success with NCIS people just using the database address so I dont know what you are doing OR do you want one of those odd successes were someone gets lucky and gets everyone in one go. Successes like that happen for a reason - it usually has something to do with that persons letter etc...

The point of the post (if you read the thread) was to prove that he does sign TTM. Rod's address was actually the easiest one I have found, when you go to Hollywood his house is even on the homes tour. Maybe if you spent some time online researching like I & other serious collectors do for the best places to send requests to certain people etc.. instead of in here whining about my & other peoples successes you might have some luck. I have been doing this hobby since 1983 and in that time I have used home addresses as a last resort about 3 times. Have you been sending requests to Rod since 83?

I will keep all this in mind when I get an auto from someone who is "hard to get". There are so many greedy people on here it is funny. I get the sense that this website is more about getting one up on someone or "if it is hard for me, it is going to to be hard for you". "It is ok for me to write or email the person but not everyone else" or "Don't give out the email, I got mine" or "take off this VV address, it will ruin my chances of writing them 10 times so I can get more autos than I need, in hopes maybe I can sell them". This is nothing personal against you, I have just seen one to many of these posts. I would prefer that people just keep it to themselves if they are not going to share and work together. I personally don't care about his auto because I already have it. It is good that you got your autograph though.

You make it sound like a trip to Hollywood doesn't cost much, boy you're one delusional son of a bitch! Because I don't have the money to spend on a plane ticket much less money to go on a hollywood tour.

You have a real problem. I did not tell you to take a trip to Hollywood. We worked our butts off for 4 years,did nothing & went nowhere & saved like crazy to be able to make a dream come true & go to the USA. How does working hard & saving for 4 years make me a son if a ***** . Or are peole not allowed to go on vacation either in your eyes. I was merely saying his home address is no secret, you will find it online & tours take you there. I don't think you fully read & understand the posts.

i think this is a fantastic success :D {up} well done buffysatine. i wrote to Rod VV a few weeks ago but never heard back! :cry: and he is an artist i have admired for a long time so i would love his autograph. im afraid that like any hobby you can't please everyone, and if someone gets something that another person doesn't have there will always be discussion - good or bad, but at the end of the day its a success for a fellow autograph collector so we should be happy for the recipient (but a be a little jealous too!!! ;-) lolz) congrats again :D {up}

Given where you're from you must've saved quite a bit, and did I say no one is allowed to vacation?
