Harrison Ford - Success??? Not!!! Preprints

I sent a request for an autographed photo to Harrison Ford in January, 2014. I received two preprint photos on February 26th. He sent what looks like an preprint current photo and photo of himself in the Indy outfit. Both are 4" x 6" photos.

He sent what looks like an auto-pen signed current photo and a hand signed photo of himself in the Indy outfit. That's the one I have hanging in the Man Cave... Both are 4" x 6" photos.

I did a little more research. You're correct. Both Ford photos are preprints .

Are you sure about that? Both pictures he sent have different autographs. The one I showed in my post appears to be signed with a black marker. At least it looks real. I know the other is fake because the sig is white and looks fake.

You don't compare 2 different PPs to each other (that only works for APs), you compare them to other identical signed photos.

Only the photos that are identical without the signature will have the same signature when you're dealing with PPs because they're photo copies of the originals. He signed one of each by hand and then they were copied and you received the copies. So the two different pictures will have signatures that have the same variations as two hand signed pictures.

You can see they're PPs because that variation doesn't exist between your Indy photo and the others being sent out.

APs on the other hand make the same signatures on different photos.

Ford is a tough one to get TTM.

I've gotten him twice over the past couple years... four 8x10s total.

But you won't get him at his HF Prods address. You have to get him at his house. But even sending to his house isn't a guaranteed success... you actually have to get his assistant to give Ford his mail
