Back on October 23rd my Grandpa attended the annual Reunion - Old Time Barbell Strong Men body-builder convention at the Airport Marriot Hotel in Newark, New Jersey. One of the featured guests there was none other than Darth Vader himself……….Dave Prowse!! My grandpa worked security at the event and got a chance to meet Dave towards the evening around 5:00pm and he was able to get me 8x12 photo Personalized & Signed by Dave!!

My Grandpa met Dave a couple years ago at the same place, but hadn’t been able to get a signed picture only a quick Photo Op (Which I later sent to Dave via TTM and got it signed), so he promised me this year he’d try again & was successful! This will make another fine addition to my Star Wars series. I was quite impressed by the photo Dave signed, as I’ve never seen this one before and it’s quite unique.

Thanks hockeyfan1994!! He is selling signed photos on his site for $15. Personalized as well. That would be way cheaper than getting it at a convention.

I got to meet him down at a convention a long time ago; it was at BigAppleCon in NYC around 1997 I think...

I remember he charged just $20.00 for an autograph and photo with him at the time. Other celebs. were charging $10.00 and $5.00 so back then $20.00 was seen as a lot of money. The convention was a lot cheaper over a decade ago compared to today.

I have the photo of me and him somewhere. It was taken on a polaroid.. remember those?? lol

Very nice dude!! I totally remember Polaroid photos. lol. His signature hasn't changed very much at all over the years.
