Matthew Needham (Casualty) and Oliver Cotton IP success!

Apologies for the lateness in posting.
On the 20th November 09 I went to see the Chichester Festival Theatre touring production of The Grapes of Wrath - which was incredible. They had an amazing rainstorm and a river feature and the poor cast members got absolutely soaked (I got splashed several times as I was sitting in the front row!) Anyhow, the play was brilliant and also starred one of my very favourite actors Matthew Needham - who is best known for playing F2 'Toby De Silva' on BBC Casualty - alongside Oliver Cotton, Sorcha Cusack and Christopher Timothy.
After the performance I waited at the stage door, met the two children from the show who were brilliant and signed my programme and then Oliver Cotton came out. He was really nice and signed and personalized my show programme and was really chatty too. After that, I was really hoping to meet Matthew Needham, but I was worried I wouldn't as the cast seemed to be exiting out of several different doors and I had already missed a couple of others I had wanted to meet, but then he came out and was unmistakable because of how tall he is!
I called to him and he stopped and was really shy but lovely too. Matthew thanked me for coming and sticking with it as he said that '3 hours of Steinbeck is probably enough for anyone'!
He then signed and personalized my show programme and the Casualty photo I had brought with me, and said that this was a picture from when he was thin! I got a photo with him and he was really friendly.

I had started writing a letter to Matthew a month or so before, and so I wrote at the end that I had booked to see Grapes of Wrath. A week after seeing the show, Matthew sent me back a Casualty cast card signed and personalized on the back and a lovely long letter thanking me for coming to see him!
He's so kind. TTM success.
