Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein ("Portlandia")

Hi everyone,
so Monday, I was checking my Facebook (as usual) and I saw that a friend had posted filming info for a couple of crowd scenes that Portlandia is filming the next day, and they needed extras. So I asked my friend if she wanted to go and we went. It was so much fun. The first crowd scene was outside (under contract I'm not supposed to tell you anything about what was filmed) and the second was in an auditorium at a school nearby. So my friend and I sat down (they had to have the first two seats of every row filled, and then when they needed different angles, they moved everyone that was sitting in the 3rd and 4th seats of a row over to by where Fred and Carrie were) so my friend and I got moved over there, and the guy ushered me two seats away from Fred and 3 away from Carrie and Fred talked to me and he was super amazing and down to earth and the people around us joked around and talked a little bit in-between takes. It was amazing. After filming wrapped for the day, I was able to ask Fred for an autograph before he got pulled away by other people and the director, and after that, I was able to grab Carrie for like...two seconds right after the director needed her and she was kinda just standing around so I figured it was a good time as any and she signed a page of my notebook. They were both super sweet. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a picture with them as they had to move on to whatever the director wanted with them and they seemed pretty busy taking pictures with other people so I didn't want to disturb them. If I ever get another chance to do this I will definitely make sure that happens though. Portlanders...if you ever get a chance to get on the show...do it. The pictures are on my website. (Honestly I'm not sure what episode they were for but I'm sure I'll find out eventually) (and yes, I do have a picture of me on my website so if you don't know what I look like then go there haha) anyway....it was an amazing experience. I really hope I get to do it again.
