I heard he is not filming anything right now and is rumoured to replace Heath Ledger in his last movie.

Pre-Production means it has not started filming yet.

Good luck, though. Chances are small but sometimes he does reply authentic via venue!

From what I've read on other sources, this film is stated as development. I couldn't tell you anymore or whether Johnny Depp really is taking over Heath's role in the film he was working on.

Hey there, IMDB updated this recently with more specific details. Johnny's not going to be starring in it, he's only going to be producing it but he is rumoured to starring in Sin City 3 soon..
